Shipping policy

One price, delivered. Every listed price includes freight, export crating, export documentation, all-risk transit insurance to full replacement value, and all import duty and customs clearance. There is no separate shipping charge and no bill at the border.

 

Duties and customs are ours. Earth Made is the importer of record. Our customs broker files the entry in our name and we settle all duty and import charges before delivery — nothing further is payable on delivery. Where we are registered to collect it, state and local sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay; it is the only amount ever added to the listed price.

 

Delivery area. Checkout delivers to addresses in the United States; the all-in price applies to US delivery only. International commissions are accepted by enquiry rather than through checkout — freight, duty and local taxes differ by country, so they are quoted individually and confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.

 

Delivery. Each vessel travels crated and insured to its full declared value for the whole journey, and delivery is by appointment to the ground-floor threshold. Rigging, craning, stair carries and placement within the building are not included and are quoted separately through your own licensed installer. Oversized and extra-heavy pieces ship on the same terms.

 

On delivery. Photograph the crate before it is opened. Inspect the piece before you sign, and never sign a clean delivery note where damage exists — note it on the carrier’s receipt. Tell us in writing within 48 hours of delivery and keep the crate and all packaging until the piece is confirmed sound; a transit claim cannot be defended on a crate that has gone back on the truck.

 

Lead times. Each piece is carved to order and lead times are good-faith estimates, not guarantees. If we will miss the window you will be offered a definite revised date or a full refund — your choice, in writing and before the window ends.
