Some stone keeps light; onyx is one of the few that lets it through. Honey onyx holds it like a thing remembered — draw the bath at dusk, light it from beneath, and the whole body of Candela warms to amber, the veins that took an age to settle now lighting the room from within. The walls are carried down to an even 55 mm, thin enough that the glow reaches the full height of the vessel with no seam to break it. One block of stone, behaving like one. Lighting is specified with your commission.

  • Material: Single-block Honey Onyx
  • Dimensions: 1850 × 900 × 580 mm · 72.8 × 35.4 × 22.8 in
  • Wall: 55 mm / 2.2 in uniform, fixed on the drawings you approve
  • Weight, empty: approx. 850 kg / 1,874 lb
  • Weight, filled and occupied: approx. 1,274 kg / 2,809 lb
  • Lead time: 14–22 weeks from order to delivery

Please confirm floor loading. Filled and occupied this vessel approaches 1,274 kg (2,809 lb) over roughly 1.67 m² (17.9 ft²). On a ground-floor slab this is rarely a question; on a timber upper floor it usually wants checking. Have your architect or structural engineer confirm the floor before you order — we send the measured figures at no charge. Full data for the collection is on the specifications page.

Made to order. The price includes crating, freight, transit insurance with the sum insured stated in writing on your order, and all US import duty and customs charges. Atelier Earthmade is the importer of record — nothing further is payable on delivery. Delivered to the ground-floor threshold within the United States; rigging and installation are not included.

Ordering, cancellation and delivery. Your order is held for three days while we read the access, the floor and the route to your threshold, and confirm that plan to you in writing. Within 72 hours of payment clearing either of us may step back — you for any reason, us if the making or the logistics cannot be confirmed — with a full refund. After that window the block is bought and cut, and the commission is final unless we agree otherwise in writing. If the piece arrives damaged you must refuse the delivery — do not sign for it; that refusal is what permits the transit insurance claim. See terms of sale and refunds & cancellation.
